CAMILLE DIANE SCOTT was born October 4, 1950 to Nannie and Percy Huntley in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the oldest of four children-Marsha Roberson, Sherman Scott, and Matlyn Oliver. Both her parents preceded her in death.
She was a life long resident and attended St. Louis Public Schools. Camille worked as a supervisor at Delmar Gardens.
She was a faithful member of Rising Star M.B. Church pastored by Rev. Glover, who took her in as a child and raised her. She was also reared by her mother's friend, Noble Johnson. Camille enjoyed church and served as an usher, sang in the choir, and supported all the church events any way she could.
She had one son Reginald Scott. Camille met and married James Riley and they had one daughter, Carlissa. Although the marriage didn't last, they remained friends. She later met and married Clarence Wallace.
Camille was always calm, humble, loving and laid back. She was very trusting and would give her last if you needed it. Mom loved game shows and was fond of Family Feud. She also enjoyed cooking shows and was an excellent cook until her health failed.
Camille departed this life Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at BJC surrounded by family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Reginald, and grandson, Lamar Scott.
She leaves to cherish fond memories- her loving daughter, Carlissa; five grandchildren -La Toya Scott, James Hubert, Louis Hubert, Dorthea Hubert and Andrew Riley; nine great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. She also leaves her church family whom she loved.
