Reflection of a Life Well-Lived
D’Andre Anthony transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1964, in Saint Louis, MO to the late Sandra Lea Jones and Charles Cooper. In addition to his parents, Dee was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Marco Jones; grandparents, William Earl Anthony, Virgina Flewellen and Miles Flewellen.
D’Andre is survived by his children; D’Andre Anthony, Alex Anthony, Deonyia Anthony, Steven Jordan, and Dior Anthony; siblings, Cortez Anthony, Ralph Jones, and Robin Jones; 14 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who loved him dearly.
D'Andre graduated from Soldan High school in 1983. He had a great love for fashion and was always sharp as a tac from head-to-toe every time he was seen. In fact, he was voted best dressed in High school for his keen fashion sense.
D’Andre had an incredible passion for sports, more particularly, basketball. He went on to secure a spot on the basketball team in which he played his entire high school career. Dee won popularity due to his athleticism, but his popularity grew even more as a DJ both during and a bit after high school. During his later years, if he wasn’t catching the latest sports game on television, he was enjoying laughs with family and friends. For the past 6 years, D’Andre was employed by Kessler Containers.
D’Andre was a kind, thoughtful and quiet soul who will be missed and remembered by the many lives he has touched. D’Andre, everyone whom you left in this world are heartbroken that you are no longer here, but we will find peace in knowing that you are finally free from all pain and suffering. We will always love and miss you until we meet again.
