Mr. Jappy Williams Obituary

JAPPY CEDRIC WILLIAMS was born July 24, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, to proud parents, Mary Jane Sullivan and William Bone, Jr.

Jappy confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Jappy rededicated his life and was baptized on February 9, 2020, at Greater Paradise Baptist Church. He attended the Saint Louis Public School System. Jappy graduated from Ranken Technical College with a degree in heating and cooling. He enjoyed construction work and was a role model to many. Jappy started his own company – “Williams Construction”.

Jappy married the love of his life, Pebbles Williams, on May 4, 2017. Jappy and Pebbles enjoyed shopping, cooking, and being with family. He was a protector of his family and anyone whom he encountered. He was a loving, caring, and warm-hearted man. His favorite sayings were “Derty,” “How you doing,” “I’m hip,” “L-up,” and “I love you.”

At 3:40 a.m., on June 18, 2021, at the age of 52, the Lord decided to call Jappy home. He passed away peacefully with his wife, Pebbles, by his side, who loved him unconditionally. Jappy was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Sullivan, father, William Bone, Jr., grandparents, William and Cosetts Bone, mother-in-law, Phyllis Williams, and stepson, Ray Howard III.

Jappy leaves to cherish his precious memories: a loving wife, Pebbles; brother, Bobby; sister, Cherell; son, Jocques; four daughters, Erica, Jasmine, Faith, and Hope; three stepchildren, Brittney, Nathan, and Gary (Wanda); twelve grandchildren, Jordyn, McKenlee, Messiah, Cannon, Armani, Kennedy, Tehlan, Tamia, Ray, Zurri, Zayli, and Gary Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Paul (Bernice) and Darryl; five sisters-in-law, Debbie, Angela, Monyuette, Marie, and Kendra; father-in-law, James Wood; special aunts, Geraldine, Tracey, and Deloris; special cousins, Shawn, Jessica (Boo), and Earl; godmothers, Sandra and Cynthia; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, and friends; two special families, The Buchanan Family and his Laclede Town Family (L-up).
