Ms. Jennifer Smith Obituary

Marvin and Freddie (Marie) were ecstatic the day they got the news that they had a new bundle of joy on the way. Both families began to celebrate because they knew this baby would be "something special"! Sure enough, she arrived and brought such joy to all.

Jennifer Denise Smith was born December 6, 1976. From the time Jennifer was born, she would light up her entire surroundings. She had a special way of making people burst into laughter. Like her dad, she was unique in that way.

Jennifer graduated from Hazelwood Central High School in May 1995. She went on to complete her education at Sanford Brown and received her associate's degree in Medical Assisting. She was an Assistant Medical Coordinator and loved assisting patients and her staff.

She was baptized at a young age. She joined Christ Our Redeemer AME Church. Although her attendance was hindered by her work obligations, she had a genuine faith in God. This was evident by looking at her worn-out Bible.

Jennifer blessed this earth with her handsome son, the love of her life, Errick- known as "Little E". His beautiful, kind spirit will carry on the joy and happy presence that Jennifer always brought to every setting. She was extremely proud of his gentle, helpful spirit and consistently bragged on his work ethic. She was filled with the same joy by her daughter, Aurella Smith. Aurella gained her wings before she entered this earth. Jennifer loved her little angel.

Jennifer's untimely death grieves us all. But, when we think of her, our thoughts will turn into moments of laughter, just remembering how funny she could be. Remember, she always brought a party to any setting. You would immediately be filled with a smile when Jennifer entered a room. She was just that special.

Her Father, Marvin, and daughter, Aurella preceded her in death.

Jennifer leaves to mourn her passing, her Son (Errick), Mom (Marie), her Brother Jeffrey (Becky), her niece Cheyenne, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from the Walker and Smith families and a host of friends and loved ones.
